I have only seen this movie twice, and years apart (even though I own it on DVD). Towards the end of last year we decided to watch my DVD of it, and at the time by some coincidence 'Head Over Heels' was a song I was particularly enjoying when I moved my comic's setting to the late 80s - but I had totally forgotten about this scene (and somehow, that the movie is also set in 1988) and was very happy when I saw it. I love the idea of forsaking dialogue while introducing most of your characters.

Also the scene after the 'music video' part of this clip is adorable, and Drew Barrymore is awesome in this movie. I need to watch it again soon! I don't know what I was doing the first time I saw it, but the second time I was rather smitten with it.

Trivia: The movie was shot in 28 days, exactly the time-span of the movie itself.
